Coil Cut Optimizer: two new Steel Service Centres customers in July 2007

After attending the conference “Software for Steel Service Centres” organized by Fast-Square in Milan, two new Steel Service Centres have decided to use Coil Cut Optimizer (CCO) software in order to optimize their cutting programs and scheduling.

Comal-Ferlatta from Bergamo (Italy) and Predieri Metalli from Reggio Emilia (Italy) are already using CCO software by Fast-Square to generate the optimized cutting programs for their Service Centres.

After 4 weeks from the start of the project, Comal-Ferlatta experts were able to go live with the new system and started creating the optimal cutting programs that now drive their production. The full project with automatic creation of cutting plans in the company information system has been completed in 8 weeks.

Predieri Metalli is using CCO for its Steel cutting lines as well as Red Metals cutting lines.

Fast-Square will be present as exhibitor in Blech Business 2007 Conference and Exhibition For Sheet Metal Working Warsaw (Poland).
