chooses Coil Cut Optimizer
Acciaieria Arvedi, one of the most significant metal
companies in Europe, has selected Fast-square
for the optimization and planning of their different slitting and cut to length
lines. After a deep evaluation phase Arvedi has
decide to adopt the Coil Cut Optimizer (CCO) solution by Fast-square.
The design of CCO integration with Arvedi info system
(SAP) has already been completed and in a few months the CCO solution will be
live in a couple of plants. The new planning solution will bring several
benefits to Arvedi such as trim loss reduction, set
up time and costs reduction, service level improvement and overall production
efficiency. CCO will also enable a better accuracy and control over a business
process which is considered strategic from Arvedi.
